Happy 25th!

It was my fourth birthday to spend in Paris and my second to spend at the Hard Rock Cafe. I think there is a theme here. The night was full of cocktails, hamburgers bigger than my face, dessert that pushed me over the edge and a stomach so full I thought I was going to explode. It was definitely a great day and a great way to celebrate being a 1/4 of a century old.

The Sunday following my birthday I had a party chez Caroline and it was a hit. I wasn't sure how many people would come as I was still a bit jet lagged and hadn't really seen many of my friends since I had returned from Texas. But low and behold, a lot of people came and it was fun! I made 2 tangerine chess pies which were a hit, but what mostly sugar pie wouldn't be? (and if you don't know what a chess pie is then you should google it, its easy and wonderful and would most likely be a hit at your own shindig!) And we played my favorite game that I have now named "munch munch". I am really thankful for the amazing friends I have here in Paris. I don't know where I'd be without them!

So cheers to enjoying my last year as a "student" in France (once you turn 26 you no longer get discounts here) and enjoying my 25th spring (such a great season)!

Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday, sent me a message, gave me a gift and came to my birthday party. You all are so wonderful and I'm glad to know so many wonderful people and have you all be a part of my life!!!!
