FABULOUS NEWS

Dear people out there in world wide web space,

I come bearing good news. Well, good news depending on who you are. I have just (as in minutes ago) accepted a job for next year. And by next year I mean starting July (once my current one ends) and until who knows when. I have been anxiously looking for another job as I really, really, really want to stay in Paris. And by stay in Paris, I mean, move into the correct zip code, on a metro line, where I can visit my friends whenever and walk around the streets of Paris aimlessly whenever.I.want.
The time has come.
I met this sweet family this past weekend. The mom contacted me out of the blue from a website I have put my information on. She said she needed someone to start in July and like what I had written about myself and invited me to come meet her family. I went, a bit hesitantly, being honest. And what I found was fabulosity. And by fabulosity, I mean, I found what I was not expecting but just what I needed.
My God is so wonderful to provide and to change my heart to want what He wants for me and that He did.
This family, I am sure, is not perfect...nor I am. But they seem like a great next step in my adventure called life and I am excited to be a part of their adventure called life as well.
It's only a three month committment right now (with the possibilty, most likely) and then maybe continuing on for a year, yet to be decided. They have 2 young girls. Bilingual. Well, the youngest doesn't talk yet but she is so cute how could you not want to be a part of her life? The mom is American (so excited about this) and the Dad is French. They lives in the center of Paris, the most expensive arrondisment. I get my own private studio. Nothing big, but definitely a change I am craving badly. Independence. The family seems to be easy going, communicative and eager to share this experience with me.
The coolest part, well, I am not sure which is the coolest part yet, but I will be traveling with them this summer. First I will spend 2 weeks in Romania with the mom and 2 daughters. Yes, thats right, I am going to get paid to travel. (how cool?!) And then a few weeks later, they will do as the French do and vacation yet again in the SW of France for 2 weeks, where I will travel again with them. Between and after those hopefully great experiences, I will be living in my favorite city and working a normal nanny job and enjoy being in the city and close to my friends. :-)
We are currently in the detail determining stage so specifics have yet to be decided, but I can't tell you how excited I am about this opportunity.
I am so happy that my God has faithfully provided for me again, as He says he will do. It blows my mind how he has provided, and how he continues to teach me to TRUST in Him. I thought I knew what my perfect job was and he had something completely different in mind. But I am so excited about the unknown (and the known) because I know it is my God who has laid down my path before me and I am in His hands. What better place could I be?

Well, the week continues on... can't wait until I head off to England for the weekend (only 2 more days!)

Miss you all, but now I have a place to host you when you come and visit me this summer...yea???

Love all!!
